Well first off thanks for visiting! I love being able to display my work, and whether you’re here because you just LOVE the pictures or you’re killing time because you don’t feel like working, I’m glad you’re here!
As of 2020 I’ve been doing photography full time for 13 year which is crazy! I love meeting new people and seeing their reactions when they see the photos and I love the freedom my job gives me to help people! I started off at a small portrait studio at the mall and once I realized I had a skill and passion for the craft I jumped in from there. God has definitely blessed me every since then and I couldn’t have done it on my own. I do have a background in field. I was actually a Cinema & Photography major at SIU Carbondale where I specialized in film production. I spent about a year in Los Angeles getting to see the movie world which was great but it wasn’t quite the same as home. So I moved back and after a few more years discovered my passion for photography.
Bringing you up to speed now I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful girls that I get to care for. My wife Jen is an assistant photographer at MDP and also does amazing album designs for our clients. I love spending time outside landscaping and gardening or just going for a hike. We also love to travel to new places when we get a chance.

WEDDINGS
One of the most important things I get to photograph are weddings! They are such an exciting, stressful and joyful life changing event! That’s why it’s so important you choose vendors that have experience, know how to adjust to every changing circumstance and that also know how to make the day fun!
We offer multiple package options from pre-made packages to a build your own package option that gives brides and grooms choices at every price point. You can spend as little or as much as you want on your wedding photos, we know not everyone has the same budget but we do want EVERYONE to have the same great photos from their day!
Packages start at $1,950 for a build your own option and $2,750 for more complete packages. Some of the things included in packages are Engagement Sessions, Print Credit, a complete set of 4X6 prints, medium and full resolution digital images, guest books, Float Wraps, and of course our signature item, custom made weddings albums from Venice, Italy with metallic Kodak paper for a very high quality look.
ENGAGEMENTS
Engagement sessions are a great way to get to know each other before your big day. We can figure out the poses that look best for you and it makes you more comfortable in front of the camera by the time your wedding day is here! Sessions can be locally around Springfield or out of town within a reasonable distance. Sessions last about 90 minutes and we can go to multiple locations and you can do several outfits if you’d like. I even have a pop-up changing booth you can use in case we are in the middle of a field!
PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS
A photo can say a lot about you, so make sure you are presenting your best self! Headshots can be done in studio or on location. I often go to a business to take photos for all the staff at once which is the most efficient and cost effective approach. Headshots are a great way of updating your resume or Linked In profile and show others you can be considered a serious candidate for the job. Sometimes people just need to update their photo as they don’t quite look the same as they did 15 years ago. Rest assured I do all the necessary retouching in Photoshop to make you look as good as possible. My standard process for each headshots is fine line retouching, skin softening, eye sharpening, hair cleanup, teeth whitening and sometimes facial slimming.
Pricing for individuals in studio is $95 for 1 outfit and background and 3-5 retouched images. $125 for 2 outfits and 2 backdrops with 5-8 images. Group headshot pricing available upon request.
CORPORATE PHOTOGRAPHY
It’s important to stay current now more than ever with your company’s advertising and online presence. Photos help do just that. Posts with photos get viewed and shared much more than just a paragraph or phrase. We do photography for many businesses whether they are needing staff photos, group photos, event coverage, building/location photo or material for use in advertising, instagram, facebook, etc. Whatever your needs we can help!
PORTRAITS
It’s so easy to let time fly by and not get photos of your family and little ones as they grow. Make sure not to let another year pass by! Portrait sessions are offered year around. Small groups can be photographed at the studio, otherwise I love be outdoors on location somewhere for most shoots. There are hourly session options as well as 25 minute mini-sessions what include digital images. Check out the pricing tab for more info!
